If yer gunna own an old truck you had better learn how to do basic body / paint work. Running back to the body shop every time you get a scratch, dent or rust pokes through is Hell. Forget about it. Besides, you get great satisfaction telling people that you did the work yourself. I had one guy ask me who painted my truck. I said, "I did". He said, "how did you get it so smooth". The answer to that is rather complex, but I did tell him that I did ALL the work, on my front lawn. Talk about added degree of difficulty.... So gitcherself a good compressor and gun and start werkin!
