Other direct-fit bearings after machining are Federal-Mogul 1415SB and TRW CB503B. They already have the correct oil grooves and holes to fit the splasher rods, and the correct bore size for the machinist to use is 2.403-2.404". I stop a couple of thousandths short of the final diameter and finish-size the holes with a Sunnen hone. Good luck on your project!
