Correct. We are using, (or going to use), a rod bearing designed for this application.
We checked around, and they may very well be done cheaper, but $90.00 per rod to re-babbet, I was not up for.
Curious, what is the rod machining and insert bearing going to cost?
I was under the impression that was pretty expensive as well.
