That is why I got my COE registered in NY before I move to NC.
I have been told that DMVs in NC can be difficult for people from the boonies (rural areas, such as the one we are moving to).
My NY registration should sail right through NC DMV - I am already looking for a few historic license plates.
1 plate was used in NC in 1954 (rear plate - the lighted plate); and,
2 plates were used in in NC in/after 1955 (front and rear).
