In my effort to make everything as perfect as possible I ordered another u joint fron Classic. The new joint is cheap Chinese crap. Why do I even try. I'm going to use the original joint. If you look at the original cap you will see a flat line machined at the base of the arch. The transmission yoke has the same flat line machined into it. They kind of lock into each other. You can see the crappy looking casting on the replacement cap.
