Hi Jerry:
I am now in that boat. My early 327 harmonic balancer came loose. Luckly it didnt come flying off. I have put this on a few times over the years and recall the last time I installed it after a rebuild several years ago, it tapped on with not much resistance at all. I guess that shouldve been a sign...and I did think about that but didnt do anything about it. So now I'm thinking I need to get this crank snout drilled and tapped and get this bolted on.
I would greatly appreciate the use of any kind of tool to assist with a straight on guided drill and tap job. Any help / advice . Thanks much Steve
