My dad had an 86 Chevy Astro van that was galvanized from the factory. It had spots where the paint had chipped and NEVER rusted! I was thinking of doing this to my truck. There is a place here in town, where I live, that could dip an entire truck cab. The thing is, I always thought that it was hard to get paint to adhere to galvanized metal? However, I am certain the Chevy Astro was galvanized underneath. What does anyone else think?
