Plugs look good, not to sooty or oily. Have you had it on a long highway trip? A 50 mile trip each way at a steady rpm and decent speed may just loosen up the rings and get the oil usage down. Get the engine good and hot. The muffler could have excess oil in it thats just burning out from the old valve seals so it could take awhile to clean out.
