The G.M.C. V-6's fit completely under the Viking-style cab-overs,in the early to mid-'60's.Same with the 409/427 B.B.'s. They shouldn't take up any more space,than a B.B. (Big Block).firewall mod's may be required,depending on which transmission is used. I think most,if not all T.F.,and Blue-Chip L.C.F.'s firewalls/trans.tunnels were designed for SM 420's
