In 1956 Chevrolet introduced a "Heavy Duty" Line of trucks that consisted of the 7000, and 9000 series LCF trucks, and the 8000, & 10000 series conventionals. These Heavy Duty trucks used the bigger 322ci. Buick engine in '56, & '57, & the 348ci. Chevy engine in '58, & '59. So I'd say yes.
