Wow, Don- I'm glad you're alright. I use them; not my favorite, but I have had one 'explode' before. The material inside let loose and almost knocked the tool out of my hand... It was like cutting with a triangle for a split second.
I only had goggles on at the time- good safety with your face shield. Where in the neck did it get you? That's not the best spot on the body to need stitches.
