Thats great news Brad. Be sure to let us know how it went. It would be great to have a how-to article on this. I know the Rochesters have such thin metal at these boss areas, it's a miracle they have lasted this long. If there is a good way to save these cores, I am all for a decent solution that doesn't incorporate JB Weld! Carters are much better made IMHO.
