.. and I'm trying to minimalize my chances of error-making. Not that I wouldn't notice it eventually, but I hadn't thought about having to also drill out the airhorn, as you mention.

I'll check back in after I get some heli-coil; anything else to be aware of ? Particularly with how this cast metal on the carburetor reacts to a slow churning drill-press? It seems fairly 'soft'. (I have not researched exactly what the Carters YF is made of)
