I think you'll have a better looking truck if you paint it with a roller than you will if you try to wrap that thing in vinyl. This is the same vinyl that they use for signs and such. It will blister and pucker on all uneven surfaces, celebrating the imperfections more than hiding them.
Paint it with a flat paint and brush or roller and you will have a much better look I think.
Personally, I like the unrestored original look. The more beat the better. Do a mechanical resto and then run that sucker with the rust showing.
