Well, now what?? I picked up the starter awhile ago, brought it home (got the nut off easily with a little PB Blaster), put on the new starter and... NOTHING! Not a sound, not a click, nothing. So, it looks like it's not the starter after all. (Hope NAPA will take their starter back.) I had power down there, so I don't know what the hell it is, unless the key switch has shot craps on me. So, that's where it is at this point. I've got at least one old key switch in my 'goody boxes' that came with the truck, but seems to me if they're not in the truck, they're probably not good. I am just scratching my head on this one.
