Hi showme, They first test I would do is turn on the headlights and then push the starter pedal.( Key on or off no difference) If the headlights go out it means that you have a bad battery, or bad cables, or bad connections. If the headlights stay on when starter pedal pushed to the floor it would indicate bad/ loose connections or bad starter. Have fun Brian
