Wire wheel is great for frames, brackets, motors, trannys, differentials...hard parts. (That's the big honker cup wheel on a big grinder.) Bench grinder wire wheel good for hardware and smaller parts. Some people do use it for body paint removal but it's a wild ride. I'm not talking on a drill motor. Poly wheel and DA is a good gig.
