with the spin direction working away as opposed to towards your 'target', so round or flat surface doesn't make much of a difference.
Can't visualize what this means or does? Do you really mean spin direction? or movement of sander? I am visualizing coming into a "target" from the left and coming in from the right. Don't see spin direction of disc would play into it. Do you mean work the sander starting at target and move away?
