| Crusing in the Passing Lane Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 5,096 | The SN is stamped on the flat machined surface on the RIGHT side, rear of the block just behind the distributor. First 3 numbers are displacement. Sometimes rebuilders stamp a letter in front of the numbers.
