Yeah, Fel-Pro recommends a thin coat of copper gasket sealer. So the aerosol spray is the best way to comply with that. Both sides.
Not that I have any respect for anything Fel-Pro says. I think they must have gotten bought out by someone who totally doesn't get vintage reality. Their rear main rope seals are impossible to cut and they stopped making the far superior rubber ones, then they include copper head gaskets that require gasket sealer?
So, I still wonder what the best Head gasket material is and why.
