Q1.Once I get the tranny and clutch removed what is to
stop me from starting the engine and checking if the engine runs with less vibration?
A1.To check for engine vibration.
I don't think you need the flywheel bolted to the crankshaft, to run the engine.
A machine shop can check for balance of the flywheel, pressure plate and clutch.
