To be honest, I don't see how any oil flows into the rocker shafts with the connector assembly used on 1955-58 engines. Without any constriction in the pipe, it would seem that all the oil would flow through the metal pipe and little to none in the rocker shafts. What would happen if the later generation connector assembly (1959-62) was used on a 1958 engine?
