The new connector assemblies are straight pipe with the fitting brazed on. You have to bend it to shape. I ended up with a pipe thread to compression fitting from McMaster. I then drilled out the center of the fitting to allow the tube to pass all the way through the fitting. Fairly simple...

Your main thing is that you have to seal the coolant from the oil line and then seal that from the outside. The return is restricted so that all the oil doesn't just flow out of the tube and not oil the rocker shaft. I think some years has a restrictor in the end of the tube and some years they just pinched off most of the tube.

My 46 has the restrictor, but I have seen plenty of them pinched off from the factory.

Measure those bores and find out if your rebuilding or freshening up!
