It's funny how that sneaks up on a person. There are cheaper ways with a few tools. Checking the cylinders for uniformity and taper maybe you can get away with cylinder honing. Hard to not do that if you have to remove the head. That's just me though. Its why I have two 1950 trucks tore down to the last bolt. One thing leads to another. Be careful! smile
