A broken or stuck ring will cause lots of blow by, stuck valve will create a miss. You need to find out where the oil is, did it leak from valve cover onto the intake, or did it come from the vent pipe into the air filter housing.
Was the engine over full of oil?
Is it over full now ? or smell of fuel?
Does the engine miss or stumble?
