| | | | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 3,068 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 3,068 | To remove the pins in my '64, I had to cut the two halves of the hinge apart with a hack saw. Then applied heat to each piece until the pin would drive out. I drilled the bushings out and installed aftermarket hinge pin kit. The pins are alittle oversized, so if the center part of your hinge is worn, it will snug it up for you. I applied anti-sieze during assembly to keep them from rusting.
