"O'Reilly has 235 valve cover gaskets from Felpro in two thicknesses: 5/32" (PN: VS50189C) for $9 or 7/32" (PN: VS50190C) for $12."

I prefer the thicker one myself. If you take a level to your engine, you will find the front is higher than the back. I was getting oil dripping down the back for two reasons. One was if I set my valve cover on a flat surface, due to over-torquing, it wasn't flat. The other reason was my lack of permatex on the head surface. I like to use a good liberal coat of permatex on the head and NO permatex on the cover side. The thicker one just gives me a little more insurance.
