Filson, take a look see at my '38 1 ton.

I replaced the 216 with a GMC 270. Installed disc brakes on the front axle. I changed the rear axle to an open driveshaft with 3.90 gears and bendix brakes.

It will run 60 mph and I installed a class 3 hitch to pull a trailer.
