You are right about the engine sitting lower in the frame. I've experienced it a couple times myself. On my 37 it set the fan real low and I had some heating issue's to deal with because the fan was so low...and I could run a big fan for a couple reasons. I know you have it figured out and looking forward to your progress reports.
