Hi, I am going through the same thing. The Zero-Rust works great. This is used until you get the whole truck ready for the topcoat. When you are ready to top coat you will need to use a quality primer in a spray gun, then wet sand it and then you should be ready for your choice of topcoat. The main point here is when those of us who don't have a shop, compressors, hvlp guns etc. the zero-rust is a great way to inhibit the rust. Another thing. For all of those who say you should get a spray gun and use "Real" primer. When you don't have a shop and you are only able to work on it a panel at a time, it is a pain in the butt to have to clean up a spray gun after using it for such a small amount of primer. The Zero-Rust rattle cans make a lot more sense here.
