That radius is very small in those corners and the rubber is hard to keep in place there. Rubber needs to be put on windshield and taped all the way around so that it will obtain "memory" and conform. It has been coiled up in a Chinese bag on a ship and has the wrong "memory", unless you used Steele Rubber Co. Even then, tape it and leave in the sun for a week or warm room. It will not leak if "re-trained" and installed correctly. Also the pinch weld should be checked for straightness/perpendicularity/radius conformity and deburred. Be careful with your intended fix or the glass corner will chip or snap off!!! the "goopy" style fix could make a huge mess.
