| | | | Joined: Apr 2013 Posts: 165 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Apr 2013 Posts: 165 | I had that happen on an 85 Toyota P/U I drove as a kid. Melted 2 batteries before we figured it might be the starter. It was pulling almost 300 amps for some reason. Have the starter tested.
