| | | | Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,270 Renaissance Man | | Renaissance Man Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,270 | Apply 12 volts from a battery charger directly to the positive post on the starter and a good ground and push down on the starter switch on the starter. Starter should spin without engaging the flywheel (since you aren't stepping on the stomp starter). If the starter spins, you may have a bad battery cable (internal corrosion).
