Hey Belair, Finally got the linkage almost acceptable, now it won't idle below 5 to 600 rpm.
With the linkage messed up it would idle at the original 450. Oh, I can get it that low but it's rough, needs 5 to 6 to be smooth like before. Tomorrow is another day and I've already missed 2 cruise ins and a show today. But, if and when, it will be ready for a few more 1,000 mile round trips. Have you ever noticed that most on here brag about a 50 mile round trip? What's the point of that anyway?
