Hi, I'm new here. Been lurking for a while. Great site! I have a 1970 C60 bobtail dump that I picked up on a state auction. It came from a small town. I bought it to pull my backhoe from time to time. I have worked on it for months trying to make it roadworthy.( their maintenance left a little to be desired!)It has air brakes and a 32,000 lb gvw. The steering has a hydraulic assist cylinder.I went to have it inspected and the shop said the drag link needed to be replaced.Well the truck is 44 years old. Nobody has books that even list a part number for it, let alone a part. What do you guys do in this case?
