Hi, Ed! Sorry to hear about the mishap with the balancer! Yes, I have the drill/tap fixture, either for rent or sale, your choice. I'd suggest that you purchase a new balancer rather than try to re-use your old one, which is obviously worn at least somewhat. New 6" diameter balancers that are original-equipment size for the 283 are available on Ebay at a very reasonable price. I use them to build up the 2-sheave pulley balancers for stovebolt sixes, with a little machining to get the belt alignment right.
