Mine came from cpp as well,the bracket has two sets of holes drilled in it. One for mounting to a ford and one set for Chevrolet. Mine bolted up fine to the frame.The spacer provided was about a 1/4" to short,I added a couple washers and it's fine.
I believe I also had to cut about a 1/2" off of the adjustable heim joint then rethreaded it.
I modified my crossmember to fit around the proportioning valve.
