Stroking has been done effectively on a Stovebolt before. Walt over on Inliners had one that was almost 300 cubic inches in his recent Bonneville landspeed record holder. It had a homemade FI setup and offset ground crank using the 292 Chevy 6 rods.
We cannot solve our problems today using the same thinking we used when we created them!
