I read somewhere that the gmc rods were stronger than the chevy, however I was not aware the rods were longer. So if the rods are longer does the pistons need to be shorter. I am just trying to understand the concept. Is there more torque or hp advantage? I have only built 1 235 but in the future I would like to do a cadillac 261. But only after I finish this project. I would like to know more about that preformace 235 book that coming soon. Data junkie that's me.
