I bought mine back in March, and the price was $198.00. It is the large diameter style,(6 cylinder),but now the price is reduced to $159.00! even with the (fixed), oil leak, the starter will last much longer, since it starts immediately, instead of cranking for a minute or two. Better performance,as well. I haven't checked the fuel mileage, yet, but should see a positive change there,as well. I helped a friend install a Petronix unit,on a '59 Viking 60 bus. It,too, has a 261. It hasn't run good since. Starts hard,3-5 minutes of cranking, and doesn't perform well. Rough idle,as well as no power during acceleration.0-45 in about 4-5 minutes!! He's planning on purchasing a H.E.I.,as well.
