Pre '68 Dave 'Bolter P Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 Snohomish,WA,USA	That is the baffle that is designed to prevent oil from splashing out the road draft tube. And yes it is held to the block by the hole pictured and another behind the road draft tube. See the USA in your vintage Chevrolet! My Blog
