I replaced the old flasher.
the turn signal switch is a ua.
the truck is a 53 with a new wire harness. all the lights have a separate ground to the frame.

here's the deal:
with the flasher wires yellow and orange hooked to the flasher p and e respectively the turn signal indicator on the end of the switch blinks but the lights do not.
swap the orange and yellow wires on the flasher and the lights work but the indicator does not.

i'm still troubleshooting.
