I pulled the transmission tonight and can see the center of the clutch disk... should the protruding side that goes on the shaft face the front of the truck or the rear? Mine appears to face the rear... my helper is sleeping and I could not push in the clutch to see if the clutch disk would spin. Before when I was under the truck I could see the pressure plate move... but it did not seem to be enough room to see if the clutch disk was moving. I tried the jack it up in the air method and slam on the brakes but it did not work (perhaps I was too easy on it) will work on it more tomorrow night.
