I still had 4" sticking out when it jammed the first time. Clamped a bearing splitter behind the forward raised portion. The spitter was drilled & tapped for 3/8 bolts in each half. bolted a piece of angle iron to rhe two bolts, added a middle 3/8" bolt bearing on the drive shaft, tensioned it up and it came loose with a couple of hits on the splitter with a hammer.
