Thanks for the input. I got onto the manufacturer via Chev's of the 40's and verified the dimensions were correct. Turned the rear raised portion down by 0.01", froze the bushing, heated the case & it went in ok. Don;t think it will spin but I will drill & pin it like the original bushing to be safe.
