Second pic is a bit forward from stock. It might be centered in the fender though. There is a bit of offset to the fender on the AD truck. I don't know why but it is the way they came. Any way, if you have the housing square to the frame you should be OK. You are not working on a "restoration" at this stage of the game. So a little bit of visual change won't hurt. Make certain the housing is centered right to left and square to the front axle and you should be good to go. Now you must get the pinion angle right so have fun.
