Can you post a link to a photo of that side of the engine?
People will speculate about what you are referring-to, but you'll get more useful/helpful answers if you can link to a photo.
In the top middle of the passenger-side of the head is a hole and a plug (normally, a plug). People sometimes remove the plug and attach a line from an oil filter fitting on the driver's side of the block (a jury-rig solution to minimal oil reaching the rocker arms).
