1959 235 engine, why does it have 2 threaded holes on passenger side that enter oil galley? I'd installed a motor and didn't recognize what the holes were for (nothing was in them) and I figured they were to hold a coil bracket. Imagine my surprise when I started putting oil in the engine and these 2 holes began weeping oil! Afterwards I had to wonder, what are they for, the remote oil filter cannister things are always on driver side of engine, these holes on opposite side? Just curious why they are there???
