I talked with a guy at a show, he had a 53 and he was a machinist. So he had a lot of neat pieces on the truck. He made what he called a transition/ adapter for a small 2bbl roch like on the old 283's. It was slick. Said it ran well. I wish I had the ability to do things like that.
