Not trying to beat your friend up, but old farm trucks like this are a dime a dozen. It's hard to sell them for more than the price of scrap. Things to think about are the cost to get it home, Engine/trans condition are unknown (cost to get it running???), needs brakes ($1000) and needs tires ($1000)...it's easy to be upside down in a hurry.
